Rules Format - Round Robin with one division of 6 teams. The teams will play 4 other teams in the division to determine which 4 teams advance to the playoff round. All teams will advance to a single knock-out playoff round to determine "Community Week Champions". Regular league rules will apply - GAMES 1 hour and 15 minutes Home team will be determined by a coin toss. During the Round Robin the games will remain as a tie and teams will get 1 point for a tie 0 points for a loss Ties If there is a tie in the Round Robin results, ties will be broken as follows:
Finals: Play tie breaking innings until a winner can be declared using international tie breaking rule ( last out from previous inning or last person on batting o9rder in first inning starts the new inning on second base). Home team must bat in the last inning unless ahead by 7 runs. Failure to comply by visiting team will result in a 7-0 score. Home team responsible for official score. Winners responsible to return score sheet, signed by the umpire after the game. Final game will be 7-inning game with no time limit and will be played to a winner. If tied after 7 complete innings, International Rule applies. No protests, Umpire's decision is final. Good Luck and Have Fun! |
